Description

These avocado toasts are great sandwiches that are easy and quick to make in the morning!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 slices good, solid and crusty bread
  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • Freshly grounded salt and pepper to taste
  • A dash of garlic powder
  • 8 slices bacon, cut in half
  • Maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Peel and corn avocados and mash them roughly with a fork. Add the lemon juice and season with salt, pepper and garlic powder to taste.
  2. Cook bacon until it is crisp and drain it on paper towels.
  3. Toast the bread, divide and spread the avocado mixture between the slices; top with the bacon slices and then drizzle with maple syrup. Serve immediately.
